Hello, Zuko Here
I am Firelord Zuko, son of Prince Ozai and Princess Ursa, brother of Princess Azula, master firebender and swordsman. The Avatar, our friends, and myself have won the 100 year war against the Fire Nation and ex-Firelord Ozai. We are now at peace and are trying to help the world recover. The road ahead of us is long and difficult, but with the help of my friends, I believe that this peace will last for a long time.

"You're going to fail a lot before things work out. But even though you'll probably fail over and over again, you have to try every time. You can't quit because you're afraid you might fail."

Here’s my second print to go with my chocobo one… I didn’t get as much done this summer as I thought I would, but I think the stuff I did get to came out really well!

am i the only one who is pretty sure this is a water bending move?

I’m a firm believer that the best benders are those who look beyond their own element’s bending techniques and discover new ways of bending. Look at Toph, she bends completely differently from other earthbenders, and she’s one of the most powerful benders in the world. Look at Iroh, he devised lightning redirection from waterbending. This just shows that Zuko is a great firebender.

I think it probably has more to do with the way Zuko changed from the beginning to the end of the story. Each bending art is modeled after a martial art that closely mimics the element. Perhaps Zuko’s change in bending style is supposed to represent how his once fiery spirit had become more tranquil like a water bender’s.

this move directly copies the one Katara used on him in Siege of the North 2 when she pummeled him with a snowball. This scene here is after the Bitter Work episode where Iroh teaches Zuko how to redirect lightning using a Waterbending technique AND instructs him in the value of learning from the other nations. So the fact that here Zuko is using a water bending movie that his adversary used on him last season shows that he’s listening to his Uncle’s advice and hints at the beginning of his redemption arc. basically this 2 second clip is another example of why this show is brilliant and everyone should watch it.

This gifset doesn’t make much sense but anyway, it’s full of Zuko! I wish I could draw and make something original for you, but I don’t have your talent so I’ll just use my gif making skills to make your day a bit better. I hope you have a wonderful day :3 Happy (late) birthday, Lari!
